Being a theoretical archaeologist, between perception and representation

When one is into theoretical archaeology, there is a slight difference between the way you perceive your own work and the others take on it. In short:

What I think I am doing

Doing Real Science (with capital letters)

What others think I am doing (a.k.a. writing Literary essays)

writing Literary essays

 

Therefore, there can be only one conclusion:
