What’s worth saving?

Winter holidays are quickly approaching, so I thought I’d better draw an outline of some nice ideas I saw recently  🙂

AFTER the death of a certain taxonomist, so the story goes, his colleagues found in his desk two boxes – one labelled ‘pieces of string for future use’, and the other marked ‘pieces of string not worth saving’.“(1)

Worth saving vs. not worth saving (in Dali terms): Against Time/ for Melting watches, against mechanization/for The Dream (2)

“In your future and in your past
I come and go so senseless and fast
My purpose is unknown to all
Remembrance seems to drift then fall
I travel by night and fade by day
Because that is my common way” (what am I?) (3)
